HELLEN RITA KWAMBOKA MANDI

1944 – 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on to glory of Omongina Hellen Rita KwambolQ Mandi, which occurred on 11th November, 2021.

Daughter of the late Batholomew Nyangau and the late Sabina Kemunto of Nyamataro Nyabururu. Wife of the late Joseph Mandi, Co-wife of Kathleen Mandi. Beloved mother to Polycarp, Ben, Stella, Caroline, Fred, Cindy, Isabella, Dennis, and Angela. Mother-in-law to Aileen, Carole, Winnie and Daniel. Cherished grandmother to Michael, the late Misuka, Neema, David, Aura, Jesse, Ariana, Tichi, Baraka, Mathew, Andre, Taji, the late Daniel, Latisha, Natalie, Mosera, Ashley, Amanda and Kwamboka.

Sister to Zacharia and Prisca, Sister Theophine, Maria and Constantino, Mary and Chrisantus (all deceased), the late Riogi and Marinda, the late Ndege and Prisca. Daughter-in-law of Lazaro and Mariamu Otuke (both deceased). Sister-in-law to Barnabas and Marisa Mwebi, David and Annah Mosera, Benjamin and Biliah Geteri (all deceased), Pero and Grace Otuke, Zephaniah and Sarah Tinega, Alloys and Mary Otuke.

Korera to Moses and Rachel Akola (both deceased), Dick and the late Becky Agudah, John and the late Rosemary Ngungu, Elijah and Mary Manduku. She was a cousin, auntie and friend to many.

Family and friends will be meeting at All Saints Cathedral – Nairobi, on 16th and 17th November, 2021, at 5.30pm.

A fundraising will be held at the same venue, on 18th November, 2021, from 5.30pm. Mpesa Pay-bill No: (880100), A/C No. (6454250014).

A memorial service will be held on 18th November, 2021, at Our Lady of Visitation, Makadara, from  10.00am.

Daily meetings are taking place in Kimathi Estate, and at Nyankororo village, for prayers and burial arrangements.

The burial will take place on 23rd November, 2021, at the family home in Nyankororo village, Nyaribari Chache.
