HELLEN RUGURU TARICHIA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mama Hellen Ruguru Tarichia on Friday, 28th January, 2022 at Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA after a gallantly borne battle with liver cancer.

Daughter of the late M’Laikuru M’Ethang’atha and the late Janet Ntundu M’Laikuru, loving sister to the late Murerwa, the late Thiaine, the late Samuel Kirea, the late John Thuranina and Charity Yaaya.

She was the wife of Geoffrey Tarichia, USA and mother to Comfort Kanana of USA, Lydia Makena of National bank Mombasa, Joe Mwenda of Milimani Law Courts and Victor Mutua of l&M bank Nairobi.

She was the sister-in-law to Sussana Nkoroi, the late Erastus Kamaai, Gladys Mwini, Joseph Karinguri, Beatrice Kauri. She was the mother-in-law to Dennis Mogoi, USA, Patrick Kimathi, Mombasa and Caroline Wambui, Nairobi.

She was the dotting grandmother to Keith Munene, Denise Mogoi,Vince Mogoi, eff Muriithi, Phineas Mwongera and Peace Kathure. She was aunt and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Norwich Union House, 4th floor- room 13 and at her home in Kianjai Meru.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Saturday, the 12th February, 2022 at 6 am for a funeral service at Machaku Methodist Church. The final interment will be done at her home in Kianjai Location, Tigania West Sub-County, Meru County.
