HON. GERVAISE MUTUNGA MAINGI

It is with profound grief and sadness that we announce the passing of Hon. Gervaise Timothy Mutunga Maingi on 6th September 2020. He was the former MP Kilome Constituency (now Kaiti).

He was the son of the late Maingi Mulika and Ndiwa Maingi. Husband of Veronicah Kavote Maingi and so very loving father to Mary Maingi (UK) Ann Maingi-Arungah (the UN), Catherine Maingi, Domitila Maingi (Muthaiga Country Club), Thomas Maingi (Australia), Claire Maingi-Gichinl (Adapt IT Solutions Ltd). He was father-in-law to Phillip Arungah, Jane Sawaya (Australia) and Mark Gichini (Horizons Offices). He was Brother to Paul Mbwika Maingi, Elizabeth Mbonge Ngomo and the Late MutInda Kivuva. He was uncle to many. Grandfather to Paul Arungah, Bray Arungah, AlyvIdza Arungah, Omwakwe Arungah, Matthew Kahangl, Emmanuel Mwendwa and Jaymie Wanjiru Gichini.

The burial will be held on Saturday 12th September 2020. Send-off prayers will be held at the Lee Funeral Home Chapel at 7.00am and thereafter depart for Makueni. There will be a funeral service at Kivutini Primary School starting 11.00am. This will be followed by the Interment at his home at Kllala, Kaiti Constituency Makueni County.
