HON. SAMUEL MOTARI MANG’ARE

It is in humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the demise of Hon. Samuel Motari Mang’are, after illness. He served as a teacher, M.P for Kitutu Masaba, Director I.C.D.C. and was long serving chair of Cherangany C D.F and St. Agnes Chebarus Catholic Church.

Son of Mang’are Magatera and Marcelina Kerubo of Riaranga, Kitutu Masaba. Father of Everline Bwari Nyabuto, Jacqueline Ariri Onchwari, Geofrey Obwocha, Felix Mogesa, Edwin Mwamba, Concilia Kerubo Kerosi, Mary Gesare Omwancha, and Lydia Bosibori Kamenju. Father-in-law of Evans Mauti, Atuti Onchwari Trusila Kwamboka, Harriet Kerubo, Judy Kerubo, George Gwaro, Josephat Nyamao and Joseph Kamenju.

Brother of Yuvinalis Areba, Gilbert Obwoga, Rtd Assistant Chief John Mayaka, Christine Mokeira, Rosemary Masese Miyogo, Lawrence Simba, Francis Mokua, Sebatian Obonyo, Gichana, Ichwara, Atege, & Mungazi. Cousin of M.C.A Ombori, among others. Uncle of the Matokes, Nyaatas, Abugas, Omitis, Ayoras, Oyugis, Nyakeris, Otwabe, Onyiegos, Ombatis, Nyambaris, Miyogos, Abere, Marubes, Mang’uras, Riechis, among others.

The burial will take place at his Chebarus home In Cherangany Constituency, Trans Nzoia County, on Friday, 26th March, 2021.
