HONORABLE HENRY ROHIO MURIAMA

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Honorable Henry Rohio Muriama on 20th September, 2022 after a short illness bravely borne at the Karen Hospital Nairobi. He was a Former Member of Parliament for Embakasi Constituency in Nairobi.

He was born in Chogoria in Tharaka Nithi County and was the third born of the late Jackson Muriama Njuguna and the late Hannah Wanjiru. Brother to the late Evanson Mungai, the late Sarah Wambui Muhanji and the late Mary Nyambura Manases.

Husband to Phoebe Nyakio, Mary Daisy Stokes and Margaret Kabuiya Rohio. Father to George Njuguna, the late Kenneth Njoroge, Susan Golden, Pamela Rohio Byrne, David Njuguna, Dorothy Nyambura, Paul Njuguna, Janet Wanjiru, Chris Njoroge and Gladys Mumbi.

Brother-in-law to the late Mary Nyambura, late Teresia Wambui Mugo, Jane Wanjiku Tatua, Catherine Muriuki, George Njoroge, Nancy Wanjiru and Janet Wamaitha Njonjo.

Father-in-law to Eunice Wairimu Njuguna, Mweru Njoroge, John Byrne, Grainne,Wanjugu Rohio and Phillip Ndegwa.An uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

Friends and family are meeting at his home in Woodley Estate, House number 56/7 Adams Arcade from 2.00pm daily.

There will be a funeral service at the Guadalupe Catholic Church Adams Arcade at 2.00pm on Wednesday the 28th of September 2022.
