IVY NYAWIRA WANG’ONDU

It is with deep regret that we announce the demise of our beloved Ivy Nyawira of LifeBank Kenya and formerly with Penda Health, which occurred on Friday, September 11th 2020, after a short illness.

Daughter of Susan Nyaguthii Wang’ondu, formerly TSC and Sister to Yvonne Muthoni Wang’ondu. Granddaughter to Joseph and Rose Wang’ondu. Beloved wife to Dick Lenga. Sister In-law to Yego, Riziki, Zainabu, Judy, Julia, Naomi, Chris. She was niece to Joseph, Stephen, Winnie, Nancy, Kathambi, Halima, Mwangi and Davis. Cousin to Deno, Willy, Joe, Daniel, Kristian, Nigel, Laura, Sandra, Marylyn, Julian and Bevalyne among others. She was aunty to Alissa.

Friends and family are meeting for funeral arrangements at Buruburu Estate, Phase I, Tamarisk crescent, House No. 428, near Nairobi River Primary School, Ol Leleshwa Rd.

The body is lying at Umash Funeral Home. The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Wednesday 16th September 2020 at 0800hrs.The celebration service and interment will take place thereafter at Lang’ata Cemetery.

Due to COVID 19 government regulations, home visits and funeral rites shall comply with government protocols.

To be not present in the body is to be present in the Lord. 2 Cor 5:8.

Rest easy, our dear Ivy… until we meet again.
