It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of Lord’s will that we announce the sudden demise of our Chairman after a short illness, Jakom Wellington Otieno Omenda of Posta Corporation (Nairobi), which occurred on Sunday 25th October, 2020 at the Metropolitan Hospital Nairobi.

Husband of Sophia Achieng Ogumbo. Father of Purity Omenda, Silas Omenda, Enos Omenda, Mary Omenda, Fancy Omenda, the late Dolly Aketch and Baby PM Odida Owuor. Son of the late Silas Ragot Omenda Ongira and Phoebe Hilda Aketch of UsiguVillage, Central Yimbo, Bondo Sub County. Brother to, Wilkister Akello, Peter Osewe, Willis Omenda, Jane Ongira, Fredric Omenda, Joseph Omenda, Ben Omenda. Brother-in-law of Jayne Omenda, Florence Omenda, Mary Omenda, Felix Ogumbo and Irene Ogumbo. Cousin of Eng. Ongongo Achando, Joseph Oningu, Francis Achando, Gilbert Achando and George Oningu. He was an uncle and nephew of many.

The Cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Parlour on 6th November, 2020, for burial on Saturday 7th November, 2020 at his home In Usigu Village, Central Yimbo, Bondo Sub County.
