JAMES MWANGI MUTHARA

It is with heavy heart and submission to God’s will, that we announce the death of our father, grandfather and friend to many; Mr. James Mwangi Muthara; formerly of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation and Kibirigwi Bookshop. The death occurred on Monday 16th November, 2020, at Avenue Hospital, Nairobi.

Son of the late Muthara Rukana and the late Margaret Wangeci. Loving husband of the late Nancy Wangui. Brother of the late Joseph Muriithi and Grace Gathigia. Son-in-law of the late Gerald Gacheru and Mary Wamahiga of Kiruga, Othaya. Loving father of Rose Wangeci, Anthony and Faith Wamwea, Gerald and Sarah Gacheru, Mary Waruguru, Michael and Salome Muriithi and Priscilah Wanjiru. Grandfather of Joy, Vanessa, Diana, Natasha, Adrian, Ryan, Dylan, Alysa, Tessy, Ivy, riar Christine and Monica.

Meetings in Nairobi are being held at Kahawa Sukari, Kericho Road, 3rd North avenue, house number 328 and at his home in Kibirigwi village.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 23rd November, 2020 at 7.00am for Church Service at PCEA Kibirigwi Church along Sagana- Karatina highway from 10.00am and later laid to rest in his farm at Kibirigwi, Kirinyaga County.

In God’s arm James rests and in our hearts he will live forever.
