In humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing to glory of Retired MwalimuJames Mwongela Mutungu of Wenyeani village, Mukaa Sub County, Makueni County. His late Parents were Mutungu Nthama and Kavulwa Mutungu. He was Brother to the Late Anna Nzimbi of Katitu village.

Beloved husband to Agnes Mutungu. Father to Dorcas Mutuku — Head Teacher Kwa-Mwingio Primary School, Samuel Mwongela of Mukaa Boys School, Samson Mutungu and Prof. Simon Mwongela of Georgia Gwinnet College (USA).

Father in Law to Sammy Maundu, Victoria Mwongela, Jane Muasya and Tabitha Muli. Grandfather to David Matee, Priscilla Mukami (Safaricom), James Mutungu (Eldoret), Benjamin Kyalo (MMUST), Zipporah Wavinya (Maseno Univ), Cepha Mwendwa (Nrbi), Moses Mutungu, Anna Munee, Ben Mumina,Timothy and Jader (USA).

He was ‘Syitae’ to the Maundu’s, Muema’s, Kachusya’s and Stanley Kikumu’s Families.

The Cortege will leave Montezuma Monallsa Funeral Home –Machakos on Friday 16th April 2021 at 8.30 am for prayers and interment at his family Home in Wenyeani village.
