It is with humble acceptance to God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mum Jane Bochaberi Amenya which occurred on Sunday 30th January 2022.

Daughter of the late Nyambane Motanya and late Maria Kwamboka. Beloved wife of Mzee Chrisantus Arnenya. Daughter-in-law of the late Samuel Kegera and the late Teresia. Mother of James, Julius, Fridah, Josephat, Rev. Fr. Jeremiah Nyakundi (Suneka Parish – Kisii Diocese), Florence, Sophia, Justus, Patrick, Jeconiah and Doricah. Sister of the late Mwambi, Ombui, Monyangi, Nyang’ate, Yoventina and Kamanda.

Niece of the late Bochaberi, Mosinya and Nyasuguta. And the late Nyatigo, Motanya, Stephen and Barini. Cousins of Jeremiah, Jephter, James Nyatigo Nyamoita, Bonareri, Mary, Mose, Agnes, Nyorita, Mayaka and Teresa. In-law of the late Elizabeth, Memba, Nyagaka, Zakayo, Makana, Nyariki, Philip and Teresia. Korera of Nyakundi, Nyakang’o, Memba, Bichage, Bongoye, Nyambane, Ogega, Nyarieko, Jomo, Ondicho and Nyaburi.

The cortege will leave Christamarianne Hospital Mortuary on Monday 14th February, 2022 at 8.30am. The Funeral Mass cum burial rites will take place on the same day at her home, Mesaria Village, Nyakoora Sub-location, Kegogi Locationi, Marani Sub-county in Kisii County. The Holy Mass will start at 11 .00am.
