JANE WANJIRU TERESA KIUNGU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Jane Wanjiru Teresa Kiungu, on 22nd October, 2020, after a battle with cancer, bravely borne.

Jane was the wife of Mr. Basil Kiungu. Daughter of the late Carlo Recchia and Mary Muthoni Magoko of Wendiga Village, Mweiga, Nyeri County. Daughter-in-law of the late Wilson Mwakulomba and the late Rachel Ngumbi Mwakulomba of Mwarungu Village, Wundanyi, Taita County.

Beloved mother to Katini, Rachel, Luisa and Neema. Mother-in-law to George Rono. Loving Grandmother to Ryan Recchia, Renee-Jane, Kibet Rono and Kipkemoi Rono.

Beloved sister to Reuben Magoko, James Francis Gitonga, Peter Rugu and Lydia Njoki Maina. Sister-in-law to Catherine Wairimu Magoko, Robert Maina Njoroge, the late Haji, late Hannah, late Ruth, late Patience, late Steve, Solomon Njagi, Lorraine Mwangombe. Loving Niece, Cousin and Auntie to many.

Funeral Service in Nairobi will be on Thursday, 29th October at 10:00am. Due to MoH guidelines for gatherings, kindly call 0798276557 to register to attend.

The cortege will leave Nairobi on Friday, 30th October. Burial will be on Saturday, 31st October, 2020 on the family farm at Mwarungu village next to Ngangao Secondary School, Taita Wundanyi.
