It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Jane Were, that occurred on Friday I 5th January, 2021.

Beloved daughter of the late Mzee Domas Were and Mama Theresa Omalla Were.

Step-daughter of the late Mama Marita Were. Sister of the late Sophia, the late Austine, the late Clement, the late Cornel, the late Veronica, Agnes, the late Boniface, Cornelia, the late Paul, Mary, Prof. Fred Were, Henry and Constantine.

Sister-in-law of the late Maria, Anacleta, the late Selina, Fellister, the late Pascal, the late Apollo, Emelda, Florence, the late Muruka, the late Joseph, Jacinta, Lilian and Anicetus.

An auntie of the late Beatrice, Cecilia, Patrick, Julius, the late Praxedis, Valentine, Margaret, Marilyn, Antonina, the late Wafula, Thomas and many more.

A Grand-auntie and Great-grand-auntie to several more.

Friends and relatives have been meeting daily at the Nairobi Club from 4.00pm, for funeral arrangements.

The last meeting will be held today, Tuesday 19th January, 2021.
