It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Jeliah Mwango Maati of Chebilat Centre, Mekenene Ward, Nyamira County which occurred on 8th February, 2022.

Daughter to the late Kireki Gesora and the late mama Moraa Nyochero. Sister to Ebisiba Ontong’ino Nyamosi, Yunuke Okong’o, James Omayio, the late (Ben Abere, Joseph Barake, David Sagwe Washington Gesora, Bugei, Ocharo, Nyakang’o, Onchwari, Ong’era),Teresia Ogeto, Hellena, Bosibori, Mwango Gichana, Monyangi Nyamunga, Moraa Menecha, Bochaberi Gwachi, Anderea Kireki, Daudi Kireki, Omwoyo Kireki and others.

Loving wife to the late James Maati Nyamosi. Mother to the late David Obiero, Richard Ondari, Agnes Nyarinda, Charles Orango, Isabella Magoma, late Thomas Mongare and Esther Kwamboka Mabera. Mother-in-law to Grace Obiero, Sabina Ondari, Charles Mayenga, Melen Orango, Veronica Orango, Lillian Mongare, Robert Mabera, Jackson Mokaya, Florence Ondieki Atunga, Ondieki Onyancha and Peter Masega.

Mama Mwango will be laid to rest at her Chebilat home on Friday, 18th February, 2022. The cortege will leave Hema Hospital Mortuary, Kisii, at 8:00am for burial at her home at Chepilat village, Nyamira County.
