JENNIFER MUTHONI KAMUNGE

The death has occurred of Jennifer Muthoni Kamunge of Kiamariga Location, Mathira West, Nyeri county on 6th October, 2020 at the Coptic Hospital, Nairobi after a long Illness.

Wife of Johnson Gichuri Kamunge, daughter of the late Jonah Ndarahi and the late Zaweria Wairimu Ndarahi. Mother of Patricia Muchiri of the Communications Authority of Kenya. Sister to late Bertha Wanjiru Kamau, the late Michael Gatundu, the late Antony Kaigai, Tereza Wanjuguini Kambo. Mother in law to the late Wilfred Muchiri Kihara. Sister in law to Eunice Waringa Ndirangu of Canada, Jemmimah Murigo Gatheru, Charity Wambui Kinyua, Gibson Kahubi, Duncan Kabubu, Mary Watare Waitara, Jackson Ndirangu, Evanson Kamau Waitiki, Edditah Gathigia Kaigai and the late Paul Kambo. Aunt to Louiza Kamau of Atlanta, USA, James Waitiki Kamau, Sandra Kamau, the late Jonah Gatundu (Rongai), Jimmy Gatundu, Zaweria Wairimu Migwi, Bertha Wanjiru Gatundu, Antony Kaigai, Jonah Kaigai, Rose Maina, Wanjiru Kaigai, Njoki Yaxley (UK), Joe Kambo (USA), Wairimu Kambo, Ngendo Okemwa and Wanjiru Kambo. She was the grandmother to Gerald Kihara Muchiri, Stephanie Wainaina (USA), Brittany Wainaina (USA), Jayden Kamau and many others.

There will be a fundraising on Tuesday 13th October 2020 at 5 30pm – 8.00pm at the All Saints Cathedral.

The funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Church, Kabiruini on Friday 16th October, 2020 at 11.00 aim and thereafter interment to follow at her home In Kiamariga, Ruguru Location, Nyeri County.
