It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we the family of Mzee Joel Momanyi Mogaka, announce his demise on Wednesday 22/09/2021, at The Nairobi West Hospital.

Son of the late Mogaka Mairura (Nyayiemi) and the late Nyamisa. Step-son of the late Kerubo. Son-in-law of the late Joseph Mogaka (Masaba General Stores) and Elizabeth Moraa and Prisca Mogaka. Beloved husband of Jerusha Kemunto. Doting father of Alice Misati (Nakuru), the late Naomi Moraa, Deborah Momanyi (Kenyan-Alliance); Duke Mogaka and Janet Kerubo and Nick Momanyi (N. M. Momanyi & Co.A dvocates, Nairobi).

Brother of Kemunto, the late Bosire, the late Nyakerario, the late Nyambane, the late Mongina, the late Onderi, the late Mainga, Nyakina and the late Omani. Brother-in-law of Charles Mogaka (USA), Eunice Mogaka, the late Abel Mogaka, Mary Mogaka (USA), Moses Mogaka, Zablon Mogaka (Ouru Discount Centre), Kennedy- Mogaka (Ouru Super Stores), John Nyamari (Ouru Hyper Stores), Sophia Mogaka, Anne Mogaka (USA), Rebecca Mogaka (USA), Florence Mogaka (Ouru Hyper Stores), Perminus Mogaka (USA), Simon Mogaka and Stafford Mogaka.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Mbagathi Road, Nairobi), on Thursday 07/10/2021, for Church service, at Montezuma Chapel, at 12.00pm.

Burial will be held on 08/10/2021, at his home in Chitago 1 village, Nyankoba Location, Masaba North Sub-county, Nyamira County.
