It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mr John Kilonzo Mweu on 15 Nov 22 after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Chief Inspector Jameson Mweu Musyoki and the late Mrs Blanche Ndunge Mweu.

Loving husband to Loise Mueke Kilonzo. Father to the late Ricky Nzioki, Frederick Wambua and Benson Mulei. Father-in-law to Catherine Mule’. Grandfather to Brian Mulei, Billy Kilonzo, Roze Mueke, Amina Feisal and Keziah Wanyoike. Great-grandfather to Latif Mulei and the late Lael Kilonzo.

Brother to the late ACP Smith Mackenzie Mweu & late Florence Ndungwa, Esther Mutheu & late David Keli, Sarah Wavinya & late Dr Jason N Kaviti, Susan Kavindu & late Musembi Mbathi, Samuel W Mweu & Milcah Nthenya, Mary M Mweu, Margaret Nduku & Col (Ret) Franklin RS Nthiga, late Elizabeth Mbula, Brig (Ret) Joe BM Mweu & Chao B Mwaluma, and Henry M Mweu & Rachel Mumbua.

He was the Uncle to Ndonye Makenzie, Tony Keli, Agnes Mwikali, Mbinya Kaviti, Kambua Okora, Liz Geller, The Late Morris Mulei, Joshua Mweu, Blanche Mweu, Vincent Mumo, among others.

Funeral meetings are being held daily at his family home, Mang’auni, Machakos County and Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong Road, 22 Nov 22, 5:00 PM — 7:00 PM.

The funeral will be held on 24 Nov 22. The cortege leaves Montezuma, Funeral Home Machakos at 7:00 AM. The burial service will be at his home, Mang’auni, starting at 10:00 AM.
