JONAH NGATIA MBOGO

20th September 1978 – 27th July 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Jonah Ngatia Mbogo that occurred on 27th July 2021 at Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital. Until his demise, the late Jonah was working at Triad Architects Ltd.

He was son to Mr. & Mrs. Cyrus Mbogo Nderitu and Zipporah Njamiu. Loving husband to the late Pauline Nyakio and Joy Janice Mukami. Caring father to Aretina Ngatha, Joy Manuela and Liam Nderitu. He was brother to Agnes Mweru, Peris Muthoni, Julia Njeri, Mary Wambui, Margaret Wanjiku, Esther Nyambura and Lydia Wangechi. He was the son-in-law to Monica Njugi and Mr. and Mrs. Rtd. Major Alfred and Dionisia Njiru. Nephew to Mr. Simon Ngatia and many others. Brother- in-law to Hezekiel Gitau, George Thuo, Meshack Macharia, Samuel Ngunjiri, Ann, Simon and Irene, Late Daniel Njugi, Robert Kabiru, Martin and Caroline, Kelvin Njiru and George Njiru. He was a loving uncle to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary (Northern Bypass) on Tuesday 3rd August 2021 at 6:30AM for a funeral service and later laying to rest at Wiyumiririe home, Nyahururu, Laikipia County.

What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of each one of us. Fare thee well Jonah.
