We announce the death of Joseph Mativo Mutisya (Retired teacher and Pastor) of King’alani Village, Kitaingo Sub location, Mukaa Sub County of Makueni County which occurred on the 15th August 2020 at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi.

Husband of the late Agnes N. Mativo. Father of Grishon Mativo (Diamond Trust Bank Nairobi), Margaret Kyalo (Principal Malatani Secondary School), Jonathan Mativo (Kilifi), Josephine Njeru (Kalongo Pharmacy), Jennifer Ndanu (Africa Cables), Sophina Nzau (Mbee Sec. School) and Peter Mativo (Safaricom). Father-in-law of Caroline Kyalo (Nairobi), Joseph Musyoka (Principal Kitonyoni Secondary School), Jennifer Musyoki (KEMRI Kilifi), Brasio Njeru (Kenya Police Bamburi), Joseph Nzau (Nguutani Secondary School) and Joy Mutisya (Nairobi).

Grandfather of Tabitha Kyalo (Moi Girls Nairobi), Tito Kyalo (University of Nairobi), Samuel Mwongela (Pioneer School), Faith Kachure (Precious Blood Kilungu), Gloria Ndinda (Precious Blood Riruta), Olive Ndanu (Machakos Academy) and Wayne Mwendwa (Brighton International School), among others. Brother of Serah Musylmi, David Musau, late Henry Kisuna, John King’oo, Daniel Nyamal and Rhoda Maundu.

Friends and relatives are meeting virtually for planning.

The cortege leaves Montenzunia Funeral Home, Nairobi on the Saturday 22nd August 2020 and he will be laid to rest the same day at King’alani village, Makueni County starting at 9.00-am.
