We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Joseph Ngigi Mweru of Kinyogori, Limuru and Kiambu Town on January 15th, 2024.

Son of the late Mweru wa Kiarie and the late Salome Wambui Mweru.

Husband to the late Esther Wanjiru Ngigi.

Brother to Samuel Kageche Snr, Cecilia Wanjiru, Margaret Nungari, Philomena Wangui, Partrick Murage, Samuel Kageche, and the late John Boro, the late Paul Boro, the late Ngunyi Mweru, the late Josphine Nungari, the late Peter Njenga, the late Theresia Waithira, the late James Muturi, the late Francis Ngonya and the late Stephen Ndiba.

Father to Jane Wambui, Regina Wanjeri, Martin Kang’ethe, Margaret Nungari and Simon Githinji.

Father-in-law to the late Beauttah Muiruri,Alfred Njeru, Rose Kang’ethe, Daniel Kapsoot and Zanele Hlatshwayo.,

Grandfather to Kevin Kuria Muiruri, Shaleen Njeri Muiruri, Bryan Kariuki Njeru, Sheila Muthoni Njeru, Chelsea Wanjiru Kang’ethe, Jason Ngigi Kang’ethe, Adrian Sindet Kapsoot, Alyssa Cherop Kapsoot, Melokuhle Wanjiru Githinji and Makena Thando Githinji.

The cortege will leave UpHomes Funeral Home, Limuru at 8.00am on Wednesday, 24th January 2024. The funeral service will be held on the same day at St. Therese Catholic Church, Murengeti from 10.00 am. Thereafter, the interment will be held at Kinyogori Village, Limuru, Kiambu County.
