JOSEPH NTHENGE KIMANGA (CHAIRMAN, IDEA)

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Joseph Nthenge Kimanga (Billy), the Chairman of Imara Daima Estate Association (IDEA), Mumbuni Nairobi Welfare Association and formerly of Telkom Kenya on 29.09.2020 at Mater Hospital Nairobi after a brave battle with cancer.

Loving son of Nelson Kimanga Maingi and Alice Priscilla. Son in law of the late David Kimali and Josephine David. Loving and devoted husband to Jane Mbithe Kimanga and loving father to Jeff Kimanga and Jerry Kavuku. Brother to Susan Muindi, Marina Nduku, Dr. Petronilla Mathooko and Duncan Mutinda. Brother in law to Dominic Muindi, Tom Ndengele, Prof. Francis Mathooko, Faith Mutinda, Mbinya, Zipporah, Kimali, Nduva, Kalondu and Ndote. Uncle to Martin, Richard, Roy, Grace, among others.

Meetings are being held daily at his residence in Ober Close, Imara Daima Estate from 6pm and in their Machakos home, Mumbuni location.

A fund raising has been scheduled for Sunday 4th October, at the Open Field in Imara Daima Estate and his Machakos home from 4pm-6pm.

The Funeral service will be held on 9th October 2020, 10.04 AM at AIC Mumbuni Church and thereafter, the body will be interred at the family’s home in Manyatta Village, Mumbuni Location, Machakos County.
