JOSEPHINE KASUNGWA NGUI

We regret to announce the sudden death of Josephine Kasungwa Ngui of Kavuvwani Village, Mwingi West Costituency, Kitui County; which occurred on 11th January, 2021 at Universal Hospital Machakos after a long illness.

Loving wife to John Ngui Kiatu of Kavuvwani.

Mother to the late David Kiatu (Shanzu Law Courts) Kuyumba Kilima (Mwea), Musau (Mwingi Level IV Hospital) and Muthui (Garissa).

She was daughter to the late David Musau Koki and Jemimah Kalima Musau.

Daughter in-law to the late Kiatu (Musovya) and the late Kuyumba.

Sister to Lameki, Dr Lydia Mbaki (Kaluki Ngilu Girls’ Secondary School), Dorcas Mwikali, Hon. Patrick Koki Musau (Kuvasila) Minister -Tourism/Environment – Kitui County and Janet Kivande (Kitui Law Courts).

Mother in-law of Gladys Mawia (Machakos Prisons), Paul Kilima (Mwea) and Frida.

She was sister in-law to Mwangangi Maluli, Dr. B.S. Kilanga, Onesmus Munyithya, Christine Koki (Judiciary), Dominic Mutisya, Joyce Nduku, Arnold Mutemi Josephine Kasungwa (Judiciary) and Maitha.

Aunt of Karweru, Victor, Nick, Jemimah, Gloria, Musyoka, Nzenge among others.

The late Josephine Kasungwa Ngui was cousin of Peter Matiti, Robert Maluki (OCS Tharaka Nithi), Rev. Mbithe, Muthengi Nzula among many others.

Friends, relatives and well wishers are meeting at Machakos Prison and at her Kavuvwani home daily for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Machakos- on Saturday 16th January, 2021 at 7:00am for burial at her Kavuvwani Home, Mwingi West Constituency – Kitui County.
