JOSEPHINE MWENDE MALONZA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Josephine Mwende Malonza of Mikuyuni village, Mutito Location, Kitui East, Kitui County.

Daughter of Mr. Mwangangi Mwandai and Mutethya Mwangangi and a step daughter to Kasuni Mwangangi. Loving wife to Justus Malonza Kimanzi and a co wife to Agnes Mwende Malonza. Mother to Joyce Mwikali (Principal), the late Kimanzi, the late Mwangangi, the late Musili, Steve Malonza (Primax Co.), Ken Rodgers Kata, Musyoka, Irene Mutethya (KWS), Kyalo (Nurse) and Kitonga (GSU).

Mother-in-law to Timothy Muimi Mutemi, Alex Maweu, Priscilla Makau, Ndewa Musyoka, Mwende Kitoga, Kakai Kimanzi, Veronica Kimanzi. Grandmother to Violet Munanie, Anita Mwende (KSL), Paul, Kituti Muimi (UON), Neville Makau, Grayson Makau, Kelvin Musyoka, Ian Musyoka, Mwende Musyoka, Mumo Musyoka, Innocent Kata, Karani, Mwende Kitonga, Evans, Mercy, Joyce, Mwende Makau, Purity Alex, Kituti Alex, Martin Kathanzu. Step-mother to late Kativa, Maureen Kasyoka, Jane Alex, Kavutha and Kamene. Great grandchildren Mwende, Natasha Robert, Tiffany and Martin.

Loving sister to the late Mwatha Mutheke, Willy Mwangangi, the late Peter Mwangangi, the late Dr. Wathe Mwangangi, Mwandai Mwangangi, Mwinzi Mwangangi, Kaveti Juma, Munewe Mwangangi, Eng. Nzavi Mwangangi and Ndike Mwangangi. Sisters in law to Teresia Kavutha, Philomena Ndewa, Sarah Muverfgei and the late Nzomo Kimanzi among others. Auntie to Mac Mukiti, Mary Kavutha, Rhoda Musyoka, Kimanzi Musyoka, Hon Kituti, Kamene Musyoka, James, Mwanzia,Vengi, Micheni, Ngee, Mumbe, Kaveti, Mbaki and Kimanzi Nzomo, Justus Maangi, Michael Mulang’a, Sammy Mulang’a, Richard Mitambo, Mwangangi ,Nzioki, Jemima Mutia, Musili Kimolo among others. Daughter-in-law to the late Woova Kimanzi and he late Kimanzi Mundi.

Family and  friends are meeting daily at Favoritto Restaurant inside KICC starting 5p.m.

The body will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on the 25th September, 2021 for final resting to her rural home, Mikuyuni village, Mutito Ndooa Kitui.
