JOSEPHINE OULA ONYINA

With great sadness, we announce the passing on of Josephine Oula Onyina on 26th August 2020 after a short illness.

Treasured wife of the late Onyina Owino and cherished mother of Mary Atieno, Lynette Owino, Charles Owino, Simon Onyina and Victor Owino. Beloved daughter of the late Joram OuIa Ng’on’g and Joyce Amollo Oula of Sakwa Kapiyo, Bondo Township. She was stepdaughter of the late Monica Wanjiru Oula, the late Peres Abonyo Oula and Monica Mukulu Oula and beloved sister of Haggar Ouko, Sophia Major amongst others.

Daughter-in-law of the late Snr-chief Japheth Owino and the late Rosalia Owino. Sister-in-law of the late Arkipo Odhiambo, the late Yucabeth Obiero, Esther Okoth, Jonathan Raballa, Dan Owino, the late Tichus Obach, Opon Owino, the late Fredrick Obel, Angeline Adera, the late Jane Akinyi, Samuel Tindi and Moses Owino. Mother-in Law of Arthur Mbori Lordvick Gao and Carol Owino.

Grandmother of Venessa, Yvonne, Robert, Peter, Fidel, Neville, Jude, Brianna, Jabari, Taji, Shirnil, Tandy and great grandmother of Cyril, Christine and Aubrey.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday 3rd September at 2.00pm at SDA Church, Jericho.

She will be laid to rest on Monday 7th September at her home in Kamser Osika Village, Karachuonyo, Homa Bay County.
