Josephine Wanjiru Gachuru (Governor)

In Loving Memory / 1st Anniversary

On that Valentine’s Day morning, your death felt like a stinging defeat in our hearts. And over the course of the past year, our eyes have been left reddened. Tears have flown freely in joyous remembrance of the times we spent with you, while at the same time in sad despair that you are no longer there.

Emptiness fills our hearts when we glance upon that vacant seat at the table; that empty presence at the feast. Our thoughts shattering when we remember we can no longer visit you; we can no longer hear your voice. We remember your glowing smile. We remember your wise words.

We remember your kindness. We are comforted by the love of God as we remember Jesus conquered death and we shall eventually be together. Fondly remembered by your Children, Grand Children, Great Grand Children and Family.

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, they will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them. Rev 14:13
