JOYCE NJERI MWAURA (MWARI WA MURINGITI)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the peaceful passing on of our family matriarch, Joyce Njeri Mwaura, on 21 September 2022.

She was the daughter to the late Mwangi (Muringiti) and the Late Milkah Gathoni of Rukoroi Village, Kiunyu, Muranga County.

Wife to the late Charles Mwaura Wamicwe and mother to the late John Wamicwe Mwaura and Anne Mwaura. Grandmother to Njeri, Andrew, Sheila and Muiruri.

Sister to Late Jemimah Nyambura, Late Mwenja, Late Leah Nyakaria, Late Mary Wambui, Late Kariuki, Peris Wanjiru, and Late John Chege.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her Rurii Farm, Kiunyu from 5.00pm to 7.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching, Training & Referral Hospital Mortuary, along Kahawa-Ruiru Bypass on Thursday 29 September 2022 at 8.00am for a funeral service at Africa Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA), Kiunyu at 10.00am.Thereafter, burial will be at her Rurii Farm, Kiunyu.
