1991 – 2022

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Kibet Hillary Rambaei, which occurred on 28th January, 2022. Until his death, he was an employee of the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) at Isinya Substation.

Beloved son to Eliud Sirorei (Rtd.) Officer, Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock), the late Egla Chepkoech and Magret Sirorei. Loving Husband to Jaqueline Korio Rambaei. Doting father to Jarib Kiplel Rambaei.

Loving brother to Damaris Kirnosop (Business Lady, Cherangany), Enock Kurgat (Manager, Sagal Enterprise, Lodwar), Obed Bii (Kerio Boys Sec. Sch), Peris Chemtai (Kimolwet SDA, Nandi), Ruth Cherop (Australia) and Grace Cherotich.

Brother-in-law to Robert Kimosop (KWFT-Kitale), Edith Kurgat (Children’s Officer, West Pokot), Linda Kais (Kerio Boys Sec), Edward Tuitoek (Uasin Gishu), Justus Ng’etich (Australia).

Son-in-law to Mr. and Mrs. William Korio of Elgeyo Marakwet County. Affectionate uncle to Linsey Chepchumba, Ryan Kipkosgei, Lenon Kirwa, Natasha Chepkosgei, Layla Chepchichir, Malia Chebet, Joe Kigen and Myles Kigen. Nephew to the late Ezekiah Kessio, the late William Kitur, the late John Samoei, Job Seurei and Stephen Bushenei (Former Regional Co-ordinator-jubilee).

Cousin to Andrew, Martha, Hosea, Julius, Jonathan,Amos, Emily, Ezekiel, Naomy, Mercy, Isaac, Nicholas, Monica, Sharon, Dennis, Bronia, Dean among many others. _

Prayers and meetings are being held at his father’s home in Endebess. Harambee will be held on Sunday, 6th February, 2022 at home.

The cortege leaves Cherangany Nursing Home on Monday, 7th February, 2022 for a night vigil at home. Thereafter, he will be laid to rest on Tuesday, 8th February, 2022, at his home Village (Mubere).
