It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved Mum Cecilia Achieno Okoth.

She was daughter to the late Cornel Ouna and Anjela Ongunya. She was wife to the late Bartholomew Okoth Wambayi, co-wife to the late mama Marcela Wambayi.

Mother to Patrick & Pamela Wambayi, the late Hilda and Samuel Chessa, Mary Edel and late Pj Okwara, Denis & Carolyn, the late Maureen Wambayi, Lucy Byekwaso, late Fred Wambayi, Rosemary & late Munjal, Thaddeus Oginga and Agatha & Zadock Olang’.

Sister to Rtd Judge Lawrence Ouna ,Anastasia, Angeline of US, Bernard, Evaline, Olivia of SA, Maureen and others. Sister-in-law to Jennifer, Evaline, Samuel and Angelina Odour, Anastasia, Michael and Dorothy Owino, Gregory and Teresa Wambayi, Anerko Wambayi and others. Aunt to Dr. Sikenyi Ouna, Susan, Fidelia, Eugene among others. Loving Grandma to Joseph Murunga, Loise, Grace, Martha, Mary, Edgar, Ian, Mercy, Jeanette, Victor, Tuzinde, Talisa, Angela, Emma, Cecilia, Allan, Kevin, Beryl, Kate and others.

The Cortege leaves Tanaka funeral home on 2/10/2020 at 2:00pm for church service at Mundika Catholic Church and thereafter to her home. Burial will take place on 3rd Oct. 2020 at Buringala village Mundika Sub location, Busia County.
