It is with profound Sadness and humble acceptance of Gods will, that we announce the Death of our Dad, Mzee Lawrence Kibiego Korir, which occurred on Saturday 24th October at Eldoret Hospital following a short illness.

Loving Husband of Felistas Chepkosgei Korir. Son of the late Paul Kipkorir Kotut and Consolata Chepkemboi Kotut. Step-son of the lateTapkili Chemesunde Kotut and Hellen Jepkazi Kotut. Son-in-law of the late Benard Chepkeiyo and the late Dorothy Chepkeiyo. Loving father of the late Dr. Jennie Sainah, Josephine Korir Bungei, Prof. Jacqueline Korir, the late Dr. Julie Bore, Johnde Biego, Janto Korir Tabut and Polo Biego. Father-in-Law of Mr. Joseph Saina, Job Bungei, Kimeli Korir, Prof. Sammy Bore, Mercy Biego, Mike Tabut and Jemimah Biego.

Doting Grandfather of Jeffrey, Jessie, Jerry, Jolly, Joyner, Simbolei, Chebirir, Shallom, Kippyjoy, Emmanuel, Cindy, Caleb, Gracia, Harry, Tony, Nandi, Parpetua, Patrick, Philip, Peter and Patricia. Brother of Rosaline Kosgei, Marcella Kerich, Hawa Boen, Ursula Lamai, Eric Korir, Angela Borborei, Irene Busienei, Susan Tuwei, Caroline Bett, Wilfred Kiprop, Beatrice Cheptanui and Vincent Kipkoec. Step-brother of Everlyn Kotut.

Brother-in-law of Daniel Kosgei, Paul Kerich, Albert Boen, the late Benard Lamai, the late Meryline Korir, Wilson Borborei, the late Caleb Busienei, the late Doughlas Tuwei and Isaac Bett, the late Mellany Kemboi, the late Thomas Chepkwony, the late Lucina Busienei,the late Cyprian Chepkwony, Peter Mutai, the late Marcelina Simatey and Mary Chepkorir. Uncle and friend of many.

Family and Friends are meeting daily for Prayers and Funeral arrangements at his home in Kapnyamisa Village, Chesumei Constituency, Nandi County.

A Memorial Service will be held at his home on Wednesday, 28th October 2020 from 2.00pm.The Cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday 30th October 2020 at 11.00am for a church service at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tungururwet, Ngechek. Thereafter the body will be taken to his residence for an overnight Vigil.

Prayers and Burial will take place on Saturday 31st October, 2020 at 9.00am at his Farm in Kapnyamisa Village, Chesumei Constituency, Nandi County.

Rest in peace Dad. We loved you so much, but God loved you more. Until we meet again
