LAY CANON JACTON SIBUDA KOLI, HSC

1933 – 2020

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the final resting of Lay Canon Jacton Sibuda Koli, formerly senior education officer, National Youth Service.

Son of the late Yohana Koli and Martha Aketch of Bujumba Village. Husband of Peres Shisia Sibuda and father of Violet, Francis (BM, Nairobi), the late Mwalimu John, Elizabeth of IFCOREM, Apollo (Headteacher, Kenya Gauze Primary), Tom (DCIO Konoin), Andrew (Kenya Police, Kajiado), Kabush (Bumala), Silas (clinical officer, Kangundo) and Millicent (Alupe). Brother of the late Apollo, Zipora and Pauline. Brother-in-law of Geoffrey, Prof. Obel, George (UK), the late Alice, Edward (Kenya Police), Florence (Germany), Jenipher, Anjeline and many others. Cousin of the late Okanga, the late Peter, the late Joseph, the late Mathilida, the late Joke and Namatsi. Father-in-law of Odenyo, Elizabeth (Butunyi Primary), Florence (Butula Mission Hospital), Dinah (Kakapel Special School), Ogutujudith, Susan, Rael and Amukanga. Grandfather of 34 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are going on at his home in Bujumba Village, Bujumba Location, Butula Sub-county, Busia.

The cortege leaves Butula Mission mortuary on Sunday 8th November 2020 at 1300hrs.Thereafter funeral service will be held at St Thomas ACK Cathedral, Nambale followed by burial on 9th November, 2020 at his farm in Bujumba Village.
