With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the death of Lilian Ogutu Ombura formerly of National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC).

Loving wife of Ken Ombura of ABSA Bank Nairobi and of Wagwe Kagai, Rachuonyo North, Homabay County. Daughter to the late Mwalimu William Ogutu Wagara and Mama Orpa Ogutu of West Karryamkago. Mother to Cynthia Ombura and William Ombura. Sister to Elly Ogutu, Caro Oruko, late Opp, Pascal, James, Sara and Vivian.

Daughter-in-law to Pr Azariah Omburah and the late Mama Rusalia Ombura. Sister-in-law to the late Janet Oketch and Charles Oketch of Kisumu, Tom Ombura (KNBS Homabay), Pamela Ombura (Treasury-Homabay), James Ombura (judiciary-City Hall), Rosemary Okoth of Nairobi, Ruth Awino (MCA-Homabay County), John Awino (Koliech School), Dorothy Kisera (Blisspark Hotel-Migori), Jarred Kisera (Advocate Migori), Jedidah Onyango (Koboo School) and James Onyango (Sasini Ltd),

Church service will be conducted at Sabaki Central SDA on Thursday 07/10/2021 from 5pm.

Procession from Lee Funeral Home to her home in Wagwe Kagal Village will be on Sunday 10-10-2021 from 6:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest on Monday 11-10-2021 led by SDA Church Sabaki and Lumbwa.
