LUCY WAITHIRA KUBAI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Lucy Waithira Kubai.

She was the wife of the late Hon. Fred Kubai. Daughter of the late Stephen Mwangi Ndachi and the late Betty Nyokabi Mwangi. Beloved mother to Stephen Mwangi Kubai and Elizabeth Gathoni Mwangi, the late Christopher Maina, Betty Kubai and Michael Kala, the late Gideon Kubai, Esther Wanjiku and Godfrey Chao, and Peter Gitau. Loving step mother to Blacklaw Kubai, Helen Kubai, Sally Kubai, Mary Kubai, Florence Betty Kubai, amongst others.

Beloved sister to Nancy Wanjiku Mwangi, the late Anne Gathoni Mwangi, the late Jacqueline Ng’endo Maina, Frederick Maina, and the late Felistas Wangari Mwangi. Beloved aunty to Paloma and Bruno, the late Venice Pettas, Evans Kareithi, Esther Karimi, Christopher Maina, Brian Maina, Julia Maina and Betty Maina.

Cherished grandmother to Tony Mwangi, Eva Kala and John Waweru, Michelle Kala, Sharon Wanjiku, Victor Maina, Wayne Maina, Emmanuella Nnamene-Ede, Hayley Wangari, Irene and Nickolas. Dotting great grandmother to Micah Muthumbi Waweru.

The burial will be on Thursday, 17th December, 2020 at 11am at Langata Cemetery.
