LUCY WANJIRU MACHARIA

It Is with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Lucy Wanjiru Macharia which occurred on 29th July 2021 at Beleview Hospital, South C.

Lucy was the daughter to the late Ben Kamau Mbutlii and the late Susan Wanjiku Kamau. Beloved wife to Joseph Macharia Mwangi. Mother to Monica Wanjiku, Susan Njori, Patrick Mwangi, jane Waitheroro, Ban Kamau, Paul Kihara and Irene Nyambura.

Sister to the late Miriam Nyambura, the late Mary Wambui, the late Jane Wamunye and the late Gathoni Kiguro. Lucy was blessed with many grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her residence in Buru Buru, Phase 2, Lomilio Court, House number 973 from 5.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a prayer service at the Kenya Assemblies Church (KAG) Buru Buru, on Thursday 5th August at 2.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home, along Northern Bypass, Kahawa West, Nairobi, on Friday, 6th August 2021 at 8.30 a.m, followed by a funeral service and burial at her home In Gitonie village, Kigoro Division, Gatanga Sub-County, Murang’a County.

Your wings were ready, our hearts were not. You are deeply loved and missed. Till we meet again.
