MAJOR (RTD) DANIEL KITHEKA KIOKO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we sadly announce the death of Major (Rtd) Daniel Kitheka Kioko, who passed away on Monday, 27th September 2021 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son to the late Charles Kioko Kiruma and Mama Rebecca Kitondo Kioko. Loving husband to Veronica Jemima Kioko. Father to Irene Mawia, Papiu Kyambi, Eric Kioko and Ida Mwikali. Father-in-law to Ken Odhiambo and Dan Omondi. Grandfather to Amor, Zuri, Nolan and Alyssia. Son-in-law to the late Peter Mutemi and the late Monicah Kyambi. Brother to the late Zakayo Kilonzo, the late Joseph Muthui, Rose Kasyoka, Regina Kalimi, Celestine Mwende and Janet Syombua.

Brother-in-law to Tabitha Kilonzo, Mukai Muthui, Mutambu, Munywoki, Musili and Mary, Kitondo and Tom, the late Ndanu, Dr. Musangi and Hon. Muluvi, Mutindi, Musyoka and Munanie. Uncle to Kimanzi, Muniki, Kitondo, Kavutha, Kyalo, Emily, Musyoka, Peter, Caro and Kioko among others. Cousin to Muthangya, Japheth and Sammy Muthui among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in lkuuni, Mwingi town for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday, 9th October, 2021 at 6am for the burial ceremony at his home in lkuuni, Mwingi Town, Kitui County.
