It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Omong’ina Agnes Mosomi Ongoto.

Wife to Johnson Ongoto Mogesa of Nyabiosi Sub-location, Mochenwa Location, Gesima Ward, Nyamira County which occurred on Friday, 2nd October 2020 at Kenyatta National Hospital Private Wing, HDU. Daughter to the late Barnabas Monyoro Ong’uti and the late Teresa Moraa Monyoro of Nyachogochogo. Sister to Sabina, late Okemwa, Hellen, Lucy, Samuel and Bosco. Co-wife to Mary Kemuma Ongoto. Mother to Thomas, Mary, Esther, Hellen, Alice, Dr, Joel, Dinah, Daphine, Charles, Robert, Dr, Henry, Dr. Roger, Pauline, Susan, Naomi, Stellah, Fred, Jane and Daniel. Sister in-law to late Nyanumba, late Bosibori, late Ong’ang’a, Bonareri, late Gari, late Obonyo, Nyakoboke, Nyarnamba, late Mary, late Rebecca, Esther, late Isabella and Nyang’au. Aunt to many.

Korera to late Onchangu, Maturu, Mosomi Ongoto Koskey, late Atuke, late Anyona, Nyamongo, late Ondieki, Mandere, Mabuka, Nyaribo, late Mauya, among others. Mother In-law to Jane, Linner, Joyce, Rispa, Nyabuto, late Joel Gekonge, Ongiri, Ben and Onchoke. Grandmother to many and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home Geta and Nairobi for burial arrangements. The final fundraising to help offset hospital and funeral expenses will be done on Tuesday 13th October 2020 at Professional Centre, Parliament Road, Nairobi at 5PM.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nairobi on Wednesday 14th October 2020 for burial on Thursday 15th October 2020 at her home, Geta, Mochenwa Village, Nyamira County.
