MAMA BEATRICE NAMBOGO WASIKE (NABURI)

1945-2020

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Beatrice Nambogo Wasike (Naburi) which occurred on 15th December 2020 after a long illness.

Wife to the late Cornelius Oundo Wasike of Bukani Village, Bunyala Location, Budalangi Sub-County, Busia County. Co-wife of Mama Leonora Wasike. Daughter of late Boaz Kadima Amara and the late Eruvania Nambi of Mpumudde, Jinja Uganda. Loving Mother to Bosco Okhubedo, John (KPLC Kerugoya), Josephine, Susan (Flamingo Horticulture), Eng. Donald (Gibb Africa Ltd), Angela (Suez Energy, Webuye), Eng, Stephen (BAC Engineering), the late Osborne, Felix Wasike (Dudutech) and Esther Wasike (Mater Misercordiae Hospital, Nairobi).

Sister-in-law to Mary and Imelda Wasike, Mother In-law to Joy Kirya, Jenipher Mugabe, John Onialla, Selline Okello (Ecobank), Florence Karimi, Japheth Odada (MoH) and Eugene Shiveka (Prisons). Grandmother to Anthony Saidi, Joseph Mulanga, Sabina   Betty, Brigit, Lenny, and Papa Wasike; Emma, Joan and Eddy Wasike; Branwell, Jerome and Victoria Wasike; Trevor and Natalie Nambi Wasike; Everlyn, Nambi, Praia, Diana and Precious Pauline Onialla; Cheryl, Nicole and Clive Odada; and Avril and Gloria Shiveka. In-law to the larger Langirl family.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Parlour on Monday the 21st December 2020 for a requiem mass at St Pauls Chapel at 8.00am, and thereafter the body leaves for burial in Bukani Village Port Victoria, Busia County on 22nd December 2020 starting at 10.00am.

In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you live forever. May God rest your soul in eternal peace. Amen.
