MAMA BENTA OWADE AYANY

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Benta Owade Ayany, that occurred on 9th May, 2022, at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital – Kisumu.

Daughter to the late Harun Mathia Achola and Grace Njeri. Step-daughter to Jerusha Obiero of Asembo. Loving wife to the late James Ayany Atanda. Mother to the late Florence, Eric, Bellis, Dorothy, Caroline, the late Emily, the late Emma, the late Felix, Jackline and Nicholas.

Sister to Pauline, Margaret and Alice, the late Patricia, the late Risper and the late Peres.

Grandmother to Austin, Daisy, Ian, June, Mody, Joe, Cindy, Anita, Jessica, James, Brian, Nia, Rodney, Nadia, Kevin, Tina, Sherley, Martin, the late Desmond, the late Eugene and 13 great-grandchildren.

Sister-in-law to Peter, the late Edward, the late Ondinyo, Joyce, Roslida, Lornah. Mother-in-law to Clarius, Grace, Eric, Fred, Caroline, Dorothy and auntie to many.

A fundraiser will be held at The All Saints Cathedral on 23rd May, 2022 from 5.00pm. Contributions can also be made to 0720298177.

The cortege leaves Jaramogi Odinga Funeral Home – Kisumu on Friday 27th May, 2022 for overnight vigil. Burial will be held on Saturday, 28th May, 2022 in Akuom Village, Uyoma Kokwiri, Siaya County.
