It is with great sadness that we announce the passing to glory of Mama Drusilla Athieno Onyango on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Danid Care Services in Kisumu.

Daughter of the late Benjamin and Leah Kitoto of Masat-Bonde, West Ugenya; Wife to the late Hezron Onyango Oyako of Sigomere, Uholo location. Co-wife to Leah Achieng’ Onyango. Sister to Dinah Oduor, the late Hezron Kitoto, Loice Odhiambo, Slessor Ondiek, the late Charles Kitoto, Shem Kitoto and Jemima Ombogo. Sister-in-law to the late Samuel Ogutu, Clarice Ogutu, the late Nereah Adhiambo, the late Truphosa Adede, Lawi Raring`o, the late Jerry Ouma and the late Wilson Ochieng’. Mother to Millie Onyango Tookey of UK, Daniel Onyango of Sigomere, the late Jennifer Onyango, Patricia Onyango of USA, Annabelle Olum of UNEP Nairobi, David Benjamin O. (O’ben) of Nairobi, Elizabeth Akinyi Onyango of Kisumu, The Late Tom Onyango, Doris Evans of UK, Lilian Ouko of Awasi and the late Amos Onyango.

Aunty to the late Washington, Everlyne (Toto), Henry, Fred, Aggrey, Bonface (Riat) and Kevin. Grandmother to Mark Karake, Cynthia Asiyo, David Ochieng, Kevin Owuor, Tracy Marii, Yusufa Faye, Julie & Debra Olum, Harold Onyango, Amy Atieno; Effie, Irene, Alliance & Client Ouko; Hope & Aled Evans.

Great grandmother to Jennifer & Isabelle Karake, Amaya, Garvin and Sarena Maturo of Tanzania, Favor & Baraka Ochieng and Zulu Clara.

The cortege will leave Star Mortuary Kisumu on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 11.00 am for St Mary’s ACK Church, Madungu West, Uholo location then head to Mzee Onyango’s home in Gulla village, Sigomere. Burial ceremony will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 10.00a.m at Madungu Gulla village, Sigomere Division. Ugunja Sub County, Siaya County.
