MAMA GETRUDE OKATCH ONDIWA

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition to glory of Mama Getrude Okatch Ondiwa which occurred on 22nd July 2021 at Bondo District Hospital after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Mwalimu Leonard Sati Misula and the late Gaudencia Odindo Sati of Asembo Konyango, Raliew Village, East Asembo Location. Cherished wife of Pastor Joseph Ondiwa Ballah of Nomiya Church, Nyachida-Kwe Parish, West Asembo Location, Mahaya Sub-location, Ujwang’a Village, Siaya County. Co-wife to Pheobe Denga Ondiwa.

Loving sister to the late Dolphine Onyuro, Vincent Duya, Joseph Aboge, the late Alloyce Wangore and the late George Misula. Sister in-law to the late Samson Oyugi, the late John Okanda, the late Elly Odindo, Henry Nyakira, Gideon Odera, Ezekiel Oyatta among others.

Beloved mother of Asher Onyango, Nelson Kondiwa, Christine Adhiambo, Bob, Moses, Ruth, the late Paul and Susan among others. Mother in-law to Rehema Onyango, Lilian Kondiwa, Dorothy Kondiwa, Margaret, Esther among others. An adored grandmother to Tony, Loyce, Penina, Eunice, Essau, Seth, Laban, Ann, Levis, Shawn, Shantel, Shanice, Jim, Sally, Peter, Doroh, Tiphany among others.

The cortege leaves Bondo District Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 31st July 2021 at 6.30am for church service and burial conducted by Nomiya Church from 9.00 am at Ujwang’a Village, Mahaya Sub-location, West Asembo Location, Rarieda Constituency, Siaya.
