It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mama Janifer Nyabate Nyagaka which occurred on 2nd April 2020.

Daughter of the late Momanyi Gichana and the late Martha Kemunto of Gesima (Ritongo). Wife of the late Francis Nyagaka Samarere, Mother of David (OAG-Kisumu), Grace, Kefa, Daniel, Joyce, Teresa, Ombaba (USA) Miriam, Nehemeiah, Richard and Albert. Sister of Nyarinda, Hellen, Nyamoita, the late Nyakangi, the late Sarange, Nyang’ara, Gilbert, Gladys, the late Joyce among others. Sister in law of Makori Samarere, the late Angima, the late Nyakundi, Ondieki, Late Ochi Gekonge, the late Manduku, the late Masagara, Late Nyanchama, Late Nyarangi, Gekondo among others.

Mother in law of Stella, Penina, Lenah Judy, Ruth, Gladys, Eveline, Agnes, Onsare, Benard Joseph and George. Korera of Judson Momanyi, the late Kebwaro, Kiage, the late Gori, the late Osiemo, Late Mogaka, James, the late Onchangu, Ndegwa, Chebochok and Bichuri. Daughter in law of the late Samarere, the late Christine Kemunto and Kerubo. Grandmother of many.

The cortege leaves Nyangena Hospital Mortuary for burial on Tuesday 7th April 2020 at her home Amabuko Sub-Location, Nyakeromo, Masaba South Sub-County.
