It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that, we announce the sudden demise of Mama Leah Rabongo of Kamsama, Waondo Village, Suba North, Homabay County which occurred on 29th July 2020 in Homa bay.

Beloved daughter of the late Enos Obia and Mama Elsheba Obia of Karachuonyo Kokoth.Wife of the late Cpl Eliud Rabongo, co-wife of the late Margaret Rabongo. Mother of the late achieng Rabongo, Julie Ouma, Milkah Ogunda, Duncan Rabongo, the late Elsheba Rabongo, Calvince rabongo, Jesica Rabongo, the late Lynette Rabongo, Moses Rabongo. Also mother of Fred Rabongo, Collins Rabongo, Gerald Rabongo, Hillary Rabongo, Jack Rabongo, Emelda Rabongo, Evans Rabongo, Felix Rabongo, Dennis Rabongo and Molly Rabongo. Mother in-law of Josiah Ouma, Wilson Ogunda, Joseph Ogweno, Evans Osano, Collins Odhiambo, Daniel Otieno, Patricia Rabongo, Esther Odongo, Phylis Rabongo, Hellen Agingu, Daniel Otieno, Efie Awuor and Winnie Nzilani.

Sister of Tabitha Gor, Ezra Obia, the late Zilpa and Ruth, the late Susan Akello, Mary Awino, the late Lazarus Onyango , the late John Okello, the late Micha Obia, Moses Obia, Josiah Obia. Step sister of Dr Otieno, Josi, Pamela, and Jeremiah. Aunty of Patrick Lumumba, the late Maurice Okumu among others and grandmother of many. Sister in-law of the late Christopher Amollo, the late Alphonse Kawawa, Grace Pongo, the late Otieno Ouku among others.

Burial will take place on Friday 7th August, 2020 at her home in Kamsama Waondo Village, Suba North Homa Bay County.
