MAMA REBECCA SANDIMU BARONGO OGUTU

It is with sadness that we announce the demise of Mama Rebecca Sandimu Earongo Ogutu of Botire Village, Magenche Ward, Bomathoge Borabu Constituency (Kisii County) that occurred on 22nd July 2021 at The Nairobi Women Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Maria Bitengo and Nyambeki Bitando. She was a loving wife to the late Jeremiah Ogutu Omare, co-wife to late Buranda Nyamusi and Hellen Moraa and the daughter in-law to Nyansarora Mokeira.

She was Mother to late Ogetenemi, Sara Ombiro, late Kemunto Ongaga, Hon. Prof. Zadoc Ogutu (Mp Bomachoge Borabu Constituency), Omwenga Ogutu, Omare Ogutu, Sarange Ogutu, Tabitha Choi, Gideon Oguru, Bitengo Ogutu. Nyangaresi, late Oino, late Kembenya, Pangani, Tom and Peter.

She was sister to Arori, Mogiti, Nyambega, Onsengo, Ongoro, Nyamesa, Matini and Magwamu all deceased. Mother in-law to Grace Ogutu, late Milka Omwenga, Teresa Gideon, Teresa Omwenga, Rudiah Omare, Osebe, Irene, Cabo. Anne, Mary. Martha. Piriah, late Sarange and Rebecca Nyangaresi. Grandmother to Ouko, Everline, Robert, Ma, Peggy, Leann, MU, David, Angela, Mason, Cliff, Ombasa, among others.

The cortege leaves The Nairobi Women Hospital on 31st July 2021 for Kisii where she will be laid to rest at her home in Botire Village on 1st Aug 2021.

Friends are meeting at Maxwell SDA Church and Kisii Mwalimu Hotel for fundraising on 29th Thursday July 2021, starting 5pm.
