It is with gratitude to God for His gift of life that we regret to announce the passing on of Mzee Martin Ng’ongo Denga on 13th March 2020. He was a great Choir Master of St Joseph’s Catholic Cathedral — Kakamega, and currently member of All Holy Angels — Lutonyi Parish.

Husband of Josphine Aoko Ng’ongo. Loving father of Gaudencia Ochieng’ (Lumakanda), the late Mary Obiero, Euphemia Mukhusia (USA), Imelda Achieng’, Sr. Prof. Agnes Lucy Lando (Daystar University), and Consolata Awino. Brother of Henry Ombonya, the late Leonardus Otieno, and the fate Mama Marcela Odongo. Uncle of Carlos, jacinta, William, Sophia, Maria, Lydia, Edwin, Bernina, Obul, Augustine, Ambiya, Akinyi, Harambee, among others. Loving grandfather of Ainea Were (Kabras Sugar, West Kenya), Michael Were Mukhusia (KBC Nairobi), John Zebedee Denga (MashPark Hotel, Nairobi), Rebecca Obiero, Dennis Morland Kutsushi (UBA Bank, Nairobi), Martin Obiero (Catechist, Homabay Diocese), Mildred, George (Athi River), Lucy Mollah (Citam Church,Woodley), Buda, Lavenda,Armstrong, Felistus, John Dida, Beryl, and Josy. Blessed with many great grandchildren.

Burial will take place on Saturday, 21/03/2020 at his home in Shikhambi village, Kakamega County.
