MARY AKINYI SIBONDO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of our loving mother Mary Akinyi Sibondo on the 26/06/2020.

She was a distinguished nurse who rose to highest levels in her profession. Worked at Kenyatta (N) Hospital, Nakuru PGH, Maseno Universaty, Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu, Mildmay International, K-Met, and MMUST among others.

Beloved daughter of the late Wilfred Franklin Francis Sibondo and Mama Martha Akumu Sibondo. She was wife of Andrew Butare (Rwanda). Mother of Valerie & Alvin Oketch, Caroline & Dennis Juma, Dr Christopher & Dr. Lilian Ouma Owino and the late Joseph Lazarus Delarosa. Grandmother of Ira, Ryan, Riley and Jeremy. Sister of Peter & Mayte Sibondo, Beatrice Sibondo, Lucy Okwiris the late Michael Oduol, the late Anna Maria Akoth, the late John Oyoo and the late Gabriel Odera. Cousin of Ida Odinga, Prof.S.B.O Olwang, Olwang Agina, Odongo Alando, Israel Agina, Agnes K’Oduol, Pastor Willy Ochieng, George Ochieng’, Peter Horace (USA), Michael Ouma (USA), Ochieng Odongo, The Alandos, The Oiwangs, The Aginas, The KOduols., The Awuondos, The Owitis, The KOyoos, and many others.

Niece of Peres Agana, the the late B.F.E Koduol, late Francis Odaga, late Robert Alando, late Daniel Orieyo, late Manoah Ofwang, Ernestine Owiti, Catherine Omeno and Mary Okul. Loving auntie of many and had many friends.

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken. Blessed be the name of the Lord. In God’s hands you now rest. In our hearts you will live forever.
