MARY KAMBUA NZUI

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of an incredible soul and teacher, Mary Kambua Nzui, after a short battle with cancer, with her family lovingly by her side. Fondly remembered for her glowing smile and kindness, she loved her family and animals including Chichi her cat.

She was a dear wife to Mugambi Kithama and beloved Mum to Mwenda Kithama (Lilian Wambui), Munene Kithama (Ariuntuya Badam) and Mwari Kithama; adoptive Mama to Dickson Kinyua, Ali Hassan, Kevin Munyiri and Annlily Wamaitha. Grandmother to Jonathan Khim, Jordan Ngari, Amingzurkh Kithama and Amingerdene Kambua.

Mary was born to the late Zakayo Ngandi and Priscilla Kasyoka and is survived by her siblings Conrad Nzui (Late Mary Muthoni), Collins Munyoki (Laura Vianello), Rose Kathini (Sigmund Aune), Winfred Kavinya (Christian Sneisen) and Anthony Nzui (Carol Kung’u). A doting aunty to many and a cherished friend to her long-time friends who kept her heartily laughing and smiling her entire life.

A heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors at Nairobi West Hospital for their compassion and (Mrs. Kithama) special care throughout. We are also grateful to our family and friends for their prayers and support in her final days.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, 19th November 2022 in Kyamatu Village, Kanzau Sub-Location, Katwala Location, Kisasi Division, Kitui County.

Memorial donations may be made in Mum’s name to support a needy child’s education in your community, Kenya Society for the Protection and Care of Animals (KSPCA), or any charity of choice.

Mum, you will always be in our hearts and will be dearly missed
