It’s with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Maurine Adhiambo Ochieng of The NPS-Kamukunji Police Station which occurred on 2nd January, 2021 while on the line of duty.

Daughter of William Ochieng Omoro and Gaudencia Aoko Ochieng of Yiro Sidindi, Siaya county.

Sister of Pamela Atieno (Botswana), Rogins Omoro (Nairobi), Stanley Opondo formerly of Sameer Africa Ltd., Jackline Were (NPS-Bungoma) and Victoria Achieng (Gem Yala).

Sister-in-law to Edwin Oduor (Siaya County government), George Winyo (Nairobi).

Aunty to Vivian, Powell, Yvette, Branson, Bradley, Ashley, Lincoln, Vanessa, Natasha, Blessing, Rio, Rita, Roxy, Ritz among others.

Maurine is survived by her daughter Lexynne Talisa.

A requiem mass will be held on Thursday 14th January, 2021 at 9am – KU funeral home.

The cortege leaves K.U funeral home on 15th January, 2021 at 6am for burial in Sidindi village, Yiro East sub location, South Ugenya location, Ugunja sub-county, Siaya County.
