It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the promotion to glory of Michael Amuka Opondo that occurred on 4th January 2021.

Son to the late Paul Amuka and the late Hellena Nasonga.

Loving husband to the late Leonora Opondo. Father to Patricia Opondo (HCTRH), Fredrick Opondo, Pamela Opondo (Tingolo Primary School), the late Vincent Opondo, Janeclare Opondo, Ronald Opondo (CRBC), the late Gabriel Opondo and Symplicious Opondo (Dovas pharmacy). Son in-law to the late Madesto Mung’ala and the late Marisiana Mung’ala.
Father-in-law of Gregory Oketchi, Caroline Ochanda (Sikarira Primary School), Christine Awino (Ronimer Ent), Dorothy Awino (BCRH). Uncle to Collins Wafula and many others.

Cousin to Damari Osakha among others.

Grandfather of Sylvia, Felix, Brian, Quinton, Janet, Zipporah, Elizabeth, Mike, Rachael, Eveline, Miguel, Milan, ayden, Myles, Myra, Myla and the late Moses.
Brother of the late Wilfrida Anyuma, the late Dolphina Atsieno, Matilda Ajwang, Andrew Pesa, Bernedetta Atieno and Fejeniah Ongaro. Brother in-law to Ernest, Benandette, Borniveture, Angeline and the late Agatha.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 7pm at his home in Bulemia for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Lifecare Hospital Mortuary Bungoma, on Thursday 14th January 2021 for mass at Bukhuma sub-parish Catholic Church and burial to take place on 16th January 2021 at his home in Bulemia village Butula sub-county Busia County.
