MILKAH WARUGURU MAKUMI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Milkah Waruguru Makumi. Beloved wife to the late Mwalimu Isaac Makumi Kiruga.

Mother of Mary Wangari Murathe and Dr. Alfred Murathe Muthee, Evah Wachuka Makumi, John Kiruga Makumi and Margaret Muthoni Kiruga, Florence Njeri Mungai and the late Christopher Mungai Chege, Elizabeth Wanjiru Ndegwa and Bishop John Ndegwa, Christopher King’ori Makumi and Rhoda Wambui King’ori.

Grandmother of Isaac Makumi Kiruga, Milkah Waruguru Kiruga, Michael Ndegwa, Tony King’ori, Jesse Makumi, Cliff Kiruga, Peter Chege, Isaac Makumi Mungai, Grace Wangui, Grace Ndegwa, Mercy Ndegwa, Mark Ndegwa, Kevin Makumi, Elkanah Kimotho, Quinter Waithera, and Milkah Waruguru King’ori. She was also great grandmother of Elsie Wangari and Travis John.

The cortege leaves Kiria-ini Hospital Mortuary at 9.00 a.m. on Friday, 2nd October, 2020. Burial Service will be held at Ngaru Primary School from 10.00 a.m. the same day. Thereafter burial will take place at her Kahiagira farm, Ngaru.
