MR GEOFFREY GITHINJI GICHOHI (G.G.)

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Mr Geoffrey Githinji Gichohi of Kamuthi Estate (Kahawa Farmers) and formerly of Kenyatta University, which occurred on 4th October 2021, peacefully in his sleep at home.

Loving husband of Mrs Mary Wanjiku Gichohi. Son of the late Nahashon Gichohi and the late Josephine Nyarumbwa. Dear father of the late Gilbert Gichohi, Jane Ndung’u (KNLS Nakuru), Mercy Githinji (RUBiS Energy Nakuru) and Perminus Kariuki (ComStrat).

Father-in-law to Farida Gichohi (lmenti House), Samuel Kariuki (Vivo Energy) and Caroline Kariuki (US Embassy). Doting grandfather to Maryann Wanjiku (Bashy African Credit), Geoffrey Gichohi, Geoffrey Ndung’u, Henry Kariuki, Mercy-Alice Wanjiku, Geoffrey Githinji, Jeff Kariuki, Joshwen Munyoro and Mary Wanjiku.

Loving brother to the late Edith Kimani, Rachel Njuguna, Martin Mwaura, Martha Njuguna, Stephen Kimani, John Chiira, Joyce Ndung’u, Serah Mwangi and Emily Wanjiru. Son-in-law to the late Perminus Kariuki Wanjohi and the late Florence Njoki. Brother-in-law to the late Eliud Kamande, Jane Kiunjuri, the late Salome Wanjiru, Zellipah Wagikuyu, Peris Runo, Julius Wanjohi and Beatrice Kabura. He was uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at ACK St Andrews Zimmerman from 6:OOpm to 7:30pm, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home (Membley Bypass) on Tuesday 12/10/2021 at 8:00am for Funeral Service at ACK St Andrews Zimmerman at 10:00am and thereafter burial at Ruthiru-ini Riabal, Kiambu County.
