MRS. JANE AGNES MUTHONI NG’ANG’A

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our family’s matriarch, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, teacher, aunt, sister, and friend to many – Mrs. Jane Agnes Muthoni Ng’ang’a.

She was wife to the late Michael Ng’ang’a Wanjie, daughter of the late Senior Chief Joel Njoroge Michuki and late Maria Nyambura of Gakira, Kangema. Daughter-in-law to the late Senior Chief Joseph Wanjii and late Marceline Wambui. She was sister to the late Lilian Wanjiru Nduru and the late Angelina Muthengi. Devoted mother to Joseph Wanjie, the late Josephine Wambui, Catherine Nyambura, Peter Njoroge, John Gitau, Martin Michuki, Irene Wanjiku and Caroline Wanjiru.

Mother-in-law to Waithera Wanjie, Jane Wangari, Irene Gitau, Felistus Muthoki, Benjamin Gakuru and Mwangi Ndung’u. Doting grandmother to Kevin, Dennis, Elizabeth, Oscar, Mark, Mercy, Michelle, Michael, Marsha, Machel, late Diana, Meldrine, Josephine, Edel, Ethan, Adrian, Andrew, Ng’ang’a and Nyakinyua. Great-grandmother to Josephine, Shayne, Shayan, Martial, Roxy and Aracelia. Aunt, teacher and friend to many.

Mum’s requiem mass will be held at Assumption of Mary Catholic Church, Umoja I on Monday 18th October from 4.00 p.m.

The cortege will leave the Kenyatta University Referral Funeral Home on Tuesday 19th October from 8.00 a.m. for a funeral service at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Murang’a and thereafter burial at her matrimonial home in St. Mary’s, Kiharu, Muranga.
