The family of Musa Owaga regrets to announce the untimely death of Mwalimu Christopher Nyakinya, former Councillor Stadium Ward in Kisumu.

He was the son of the late Musa Owaga and the late Pauline Owaga. Nephew of the late Rasto and Priscilla Olando, the late Japheth and the late Beldine Ochieng, the late Ouma Kotieno, Huldah and Leonida among others. Husband of the late Wilkister Nyakinya and Rhoda Nyakinya (formerly of Shaurimoyo Primary School). Father of the late Bob, the late Michael, the late Isaiah, the late Millicent, Mary Amoke, the late Dinah, Dohne Nyakinya, the late Teresa, Ben Nyakinya, the late George, Isaac Ouma, Rose Nyakinya, Belinda Nyakinya and Rasto Olando. Son-in-law of the late Mzee Opana of Kojwach Apondo and the late Mzee Alolo of Olembo Kabodho.

Father-in-law of the late Mary Ochieng’, Pamellah Nyakinya, Elijah Yongo, Principal David Amoke, Chrisantus Odongo, Lillian Nyakinya, Joshua Ndalo and Pamella Ouma. Others include Jessica, Martha, Fanice, Eliza, Meresa, Mercy, Dolphine and Everlyne of mention but a few. Uncle of Syprine Ochieng, John Okello, Dan, Alice, Gilbert, George, Japheth Ochieng’, Charles Okeyo, Fredrick Oyuga, Victor Atinda, Onyango, Okoth, Owuor and Damarice Akwanya, Roy Nyakinya, Kennedy, Milton, Asha Anyango, Rasto Abao among others.

Brother of Dorine Akwanya, the Late James, the late Jacob, Elizabeth, the late Joseph, and Joshua Atinda. Others are the late Phillip, the late Harris, John Ouma, George and John Olando, Hargwings Ouma. Also brother of Julia Otieno, Rael, Monicah, and Isdora. Brother in-law of Grace,Alice, Lucy, Susan, Beatrice, Christabel, the Late Rose among others. Grandfather of Pauline, Calvins, Jennings, Teddy, an, Bonie, Warren, Marlene, Silvester, Wilhelmine, Vincentia, Deno, Steve, Levin, Vannel, Alvin, Quinsley, Adin, Lorrian Gift, Chris Ndalo, Stano, Charlie, Wendy, Mitchel, among others.

The cortege leaves Nyabondo Funeral Home on Friday 15/05/2020 for interment at his home in Katombo Village next to Naki Primary school.
